Tadpoles are generally harmless and don’t pose the kind of threat many people fear when they first see them. They’re simply part of an amphibian’s natural life cycle.
The main problem is surprise and discomfort rather than danger. Most people are scared because the bathroom isn’t a place where they expect to encounter wildlife.
What to do if you find them
If this happens, the toilet can be flushed to clear the bowl. Another option is to gently remove the tadpoles and place them in a pond, ditch, or other suitable outdoor water source, if practical and permitted in your area.
Afterwards, clean the toilet as normal and inspect the bathroom for any entry points.
